Hi! I’m Jessica, a (late) 30-something wife, mother, teacher, crafter, sewist, quilter, and lover of fabric… and chocolate. I started sewing quilts with my mom when I was 15 and enjoyed sharing this hobby with her. I’ve sewn on and off since then but really became passionate about sewing after becoming a mother to 2 precious little girls. It’s incredibly fun to sew things for them and our home. Eventually, I started making handmade gifts for friends and family, and now I rarely keep anything I make! I’ve recently developed an obsession for zipper bags, meticulously choosing fabrics and coordinating zippers. I find sewing therapeutic… it’s a creative outlet and a fun way to relieve stress.
When I’m not sewing, I work a full-time teaching job, fulfill my soccer-mom duties, do a little exercise, and spend time with family, my dogs, and my friends. I love being creative, I love being active and busy, and I have a very patient and supportive husband that puts up with it all.
I’m here to share my love of sewing, unique fabrics, and handmade gifts. I’ve learned a lot over the years, and hope to pass some of that along!
